SuliFilm has been established late 2005 in Suleimanye, Iraqi Federal Region of Kurdistan.
“Suli” is the abbreviation of Suleimanye city.
Producing Feature films is the first priority of SuliFilm establishers. The managers of SuliFilm aim to develop the level of quality and quantity of potential capacity and talents of the region concerning the situation of the region especially Iraqi Kurdistan, and so many unique and great ideas, Kurdish rich cultural background and specification of the traditions, language, relations and also the old history of the region and lack of professional Cinema resources and companies. So they began their activity with SuliFilm establishment.
